For exemple : Jean Nouvel, Frank Gehry, Henry N.Cobb, Josep Lluís Sert, Enric Massip Bosch, Ricardo Bofill, Enric Miralles, Benedetta Tagliabue, Norman Foster, Mies Van Der Rohe, Arata Isozaki among others.

Many students of architecture, architects and experts of the construction sector come to Barcelona to know  the Gothic quarter,  the works of Gaudi, and the  works  of the architects del modernisme català : Rogent y Amat, Domenech y Montaner, Puig y Cadafalch, Enric Sagnier, Rubió y Bellver, Jujol y Gibert.

Domènech i Montaner (1850-1923) was one of first and main architects of Catalan Modernism. His most important works are "L'Hospital de Sant Pau and "El Palau de la Música". In the early twentieth century he  set up a workshop for applied arts, where they work the wrought iron, glazed ceramics, timber, clay and other items used in modernism style. In this workshop were trained the best artisants and artists of this time.
